Bangkok Conference Session 3.3: Focusing Reform Efforts (2006)

    This Session addresses the issue of reform priorities and areas of focus. It examines the ways in which business environment reform can be used to address poverty and unleash private sector development. The first Paper presents a macro-economic perspective on the role of business environment reform, taking a programme in Indonesia as the case study. The second Paper presents the case of Pakistan and focuses on the critical business environment constraints that affect business development.
